Laser cutting

Watch this example of laser cutting on a Ward Automation filling machine.

Lasers can be used for varied processes in medical device automation from cutting, welding and marking of barcodes and date & lot info.
This application shows film being heatsealed to a filled container. A Co2 laser then accurately cuts and separates the 5 chambers and the waste film is removed.
