Cognex vision inspection of Pre-filled Syringes

Our Sligo team are currently completing a syringe processing machine that utilise 5 high resolution cameras using Cognex VisionPro software running on a dedicated Industrial PC.

Inspections include Syringe flange integrity test – inspecting for chips, cracks & defects in glass pre-filled syringes and OCR on label batch data, along with GS1 Datamatrix cross-verification. The system is integrated into a Smart Healthcare package (IoMT – Internet of medical things).

The equipment has 8 additional vision sensors confirming various assembly and quality critical inspections.
