Finisklin Charity Cup
“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much!” – The statement fits perfectly when describing the Finisklin fundraiser event ran by Lotus Works. The team organised the “Finisklin Charity Cup” which took place on Wednesday, June 20th in the Showgrounds Astro Facility.
It was wonderful to see so many Finisklin businesses coming together to raise funds for the Maryville Shelter in Finisklin. Maryville provides accommodation for 15 homeless people every night and provides food including a cooked lunch and access to shower and laundry facilities too. The companies involved were Abbott, Amcor, HBS, ICU Medical, Litec Moulding Limited, Stiefel, Voya, Ward Automation, and LotusWorks. Each company paid €250 to enter their team so €2,500 was raised for Maryville before the event took place.
Congratulations to the Abbot B Team who won the Connolly’s Finisklin Cup 2018.
