Ward Automation Shortlisted for the Sligo Chamber Innovation Excellence Award

Ward Automation has been shortlisted for the Sligo Chamber Innovation Award. This category is for companies that demonstrate true innovation to the judging panel. This could be innovation in a process, product, or business offering. Examples include introducing an innovative new product, launching an innovative new business, or offering an innovative new service.

Kenny Ward, Business Development Manager at Ward Automation said “As every piece of equipment we build is custom designed, innovation is at the core of everything we do. We have invested in a new state of the art factory in Sligo which has a dedicated department for R&D, with various equipment such as robots and 3d printers to support innovation.”

The other finalists in the innovation category are Aurivo and Higgins Pharmacy.

The Sligo Chamber of Commerce Excellence Awards ceremony will take place at the annual Chamber President’s Ball. It is on Friday 8 November at the Sligo Park Hotel.
