										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our team completed a syringe processing machine that utilised 5 high resolution cameras using Cognex VisionPro software, running on a dedicated Industrial PC.</p>
<p>Inspections include Syringe flange integrity test &#8211; inspecting for chips, cracks &amp; defects in glass pre-filled syringes and OCR on label batch data, along with GS1 Datamatrix cross-verification. The system is integrated into a Smart Healthcare package (IoMT &#8211; Internet of medical things).</p>
<p>The equipment has 8 additional vision sensors confirming various assembly and quality critical inspections.</p>

<p>Our team are experts in the assembly and testing of medical devices. One example project was to design and build a Needle Assembly &amp; Testing machine with the following features:</p>
<ul>
<li>Assembly of needle components, coil spring and stopcock</li>
<li>Vision inspection of needle tips</li>
<li>Coil springs fed from an AFAG spring feeder</li>
<li>Functionality of the spring is tested using a load cell</li>
<li>Stopcocks are tested for leaks to ensure they are within specification</li>
<li>Mass flow meters and pressure test equipment to check the needles for correct flow</li>
<li>Vision inspection of UV solvent and torque testing of the assembled stopcock to ensure correct assembly and functionality</li>
<li>In process automated testing and inspection removes the need for AQL offline testing.</li>

<p>The SP-600 is a fully automated end of line Syringe Inspection Packaging machine, handling 600 syringes per minute. The robot cell inspects and packages syringes containing vaccines under hygienic conditions.</p>
<p>System processes BD Hypak SCF™ syringes and can be adapted to other pre-filled syringe tub formats</p>
<ul>
<li>Syringes are inspected for chips, cracks &amp; defects. Syringes are counted and tip caps are checked for presence.</li>
<li>Multiple labels printed &amp; inspected prior to application.</li>
<li>Automated lid separation and application using robotics and vision.</li>
<li>Tamper proof seal application and vision inspection.</li>
<li>Processed tubs are stacked on a pallet.</li>
</ul>
<p>System can be adapted to suit customers requirements. Options include</p>
<ul>
<li>Different tub and syringe formats</li>
<li>Multiple label formats.</li>
<li>Up to 4 tamper proof seals can be applied.</li>
<li>Additional vision inspections.</li>
<li>2 pallet option.</li>
