Ward Automation Team Member to Represent Ireland at World Surf Championships

Ward Automation’s marketing coordinator Shauna Ward has been selected for the Irish Surf Team to compete at the upcoming ISA World Surf Games in Japan.

The 2019 WSG is of particular importance due to its status as a qualifier for Surfing’s debut in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The event will run from 7-15th September at Kisakihama Beach in Miyazaki.

It is home to some of the best waves in the world and all are within a half-hour drive from Ward Automations new Sligo facility. The Irish Surf Team consists of three male and three female athletes, five of which are from the North West.
