Hub Assembly

Our team in Galway recently designed an innovative machine for low volume assembly of an implant delivery system. The product comprises of a catheter shaft/hub, silicone haemostasis valve and an assembly cap.

Our customer required a very compact footprint, with controlled dispense of precise quantities of silicone oil in multiple locations on the haemostasis valve. Silicone oil dispense is monitored by a fibre optic thru-beam sensor, this counts the droplets as they are jetted, ensuring product quality is met.
